MORE ABOUT The Lion Workshops.

In this second of 4 x 2hour sessions, Ken Fischer and Gail Carroll will guide you through creating this lion wall hanging. The Course Covers introduction to Lark’s Head, Double Half Hitch and Square Knots. Today you will receive the materials and instructions for creating the nose and cheeks of your lion.

Participants will be working with a metal ring using macrame cord, and beads. This project is divided into four simple sessions to produce a wall hanging ready to display or sell.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

All you need to bring is enthusiasm, patience and persistence.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

The tuition and materials are included in the fees each session. Each week you will go home with instruction sheets and practice homework.

DATES OF FOUR SESSIONS – You will need to book on each of these sessions in time to make the classes.

1. 1st April – Forehead and Eyes $25 session charges – Members $18

2. 15th April – Nose and Cheeks $20 session charges – Members $15

3. 29th April – Chin, Ears, Whiskers $20 session charges – Members $15

4. 20th May – Mane and Finishing $20 session charges – Members $15

WHAT IF I MISS A SESSION?

Don’t miss the first class! Life goes on and we understand it is sometimes difficult to commit to a particular date if medical or family emergencies arise. In those instances, you need to negotiate with the workshop facilitators to complete your project. Printed intructions will be made available for each session.
