Flinders Songs – Recording Studio & Performance Project 2025/26
Song Writing – This Project was made possible by the Australian Government Regional Arts Fund, which supports the arts in regional and remote Australia.
The Flinders Songs Project which started in September, 2024 involved 8 members from Arts Now Here, Warnertown and 8 members from the Port Augusta Music Club. This collaboration achieved the groups learning to write original songs and use Recording Studio Software. Both clubs held public performances of their songs at the Port Pirie Smelters’ Picnic, the Port Augusta Wharfest and the Quorn Agricultural Show.
